We're looking for a Transport and Fleet Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in Norfolk, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.
Transportation - Build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £20,800
Start Date: September 2026

How does an apprenticeship work?
As a Transport and Fleet Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Transportation team to support with the overall design, build and maintenance of infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people.
Your day to day will include:
-Support with the safe, efficient and compliant management of vehicles, plant and specialist equipment used across the Norfolk Highways and Infrastructure contract
-Working alongside the transport and operational teams to help coordinate vehicle availability, servicing, inspections and asset tracking to ensure crews have the right resources in the right place at the right time
-Gain experience in fleet planning, compliance checks, scheduling maintenance and fuel and utilisation monitoring
-Supporting sustainability initiatives such as reducing emissions and improving efficiency
-Liaising with suppliers, depots and operational teams to resolve issues quickly and minimise downtime

The role of Transport and Fleet Apprentice is great for you if you have:
-Have GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English OR Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
-Are punctual, self-motivated, and willing to learn
-Have the ability to work collaboratively with a team
