Summary
Main Duties of the Post This post is for a Breast Radiologist. Consideration would be made for those candidates wishing to include some general radiology and negotiable on-call within the job plan. The radiology department at BHT is highly regarded within the Trust as an approachable and innovative department. It has consistently achieved the highest score in the Oxford radiology registrars feedback in the past decade in the regional programme. The department believes in delivering excellence through developing and supporting subspecialty radiologists and delivering access through maintaining and supporting general radiology skills in addition to supporting role extension The post is full time (10 programmed activities) for a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in breast and cross-sectional imaging. The successful candidate will join a team of 20 Consultant Radiologists. The post holder will be based at High Wycombe Hospital but will be expected to work on other sites as required. Experience in both screening and symptomatic breast imaging is essential.
