The Role Is
We’re recruiting for an Operational Delivery Lead based in our impressive Spine building in Liverpool (L7). This full time, permanent and hybrid working role combines Business Analyst responsibilities, operational insight, and change delivery support to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our banking operations.
This position will suit someone who is confident in business analysis, comfortable leading process reviews, and motivated by delivering tangible improvements — whether you’re progressing into a broader role or looking to take the next step in business analysis or operational change.
Within Zempler Bank’s Operations function, you’ll help shape current and future state processes, analyse operational challenges, and provide practical solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and customer value.
Key Accountabilities Include
• Conducting detailed business analysis, including process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements definition.
• Gathering, documenting, and translating stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable outputs.
• Building strong relationships across Operations and wider business teams to ensure changes land successfully.
• Completing operational impact assessments and benefits analyses to support decision making and prioritisation.
• Identifying and delivering operational improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and risk control.
• Supporting operational change within bank wide programmes and transformation initiatives.
• Providing post implementation support to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of the Operational Change roadmap.
• Monitoring progress against transformation milestones, KPIs, and operational performance indicators.
• Ensuring governance, compliance, and best practice standards are followed throughout the change lifecycle.
• Producing high quality operational briefing documentation.
• Supporting training needs identification and implementation.
• Championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
You'll Need To Have
Essential:
• Established experience within a Business Analyst level and/or specialist Process / Continuous Improvement role
• Strong experience engaging with stakeholders to elicit, define, and refine business requirements.
• Ability to assess operational and customer impacts of change across multiple teams or functions.
• Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders in a clear, structured, and outcomes focused manner.
• A track record of delivering change initiatives in an operational or process driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex information for operational and management audiences.
• A proactive, organised, and self driven approach with a high attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
• Solid proficiency in business analysis techniques, including process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements definition.
• Relevant business analysis qualifications (Lean, Six Sigma, APMG Agile BA, or similar).
Desirable:
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Delivery or change management qualifications (PFQ, PMQ, APMG Agile PM).
• Experience within a regulated financial services/banking environment.
