Summary

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Featherstone.

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between 07.45am – 16.45pm. There will be a need to work 1 in 4 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

The base salary is between £29,009 - £35,015 dependant on experience.

What you will do:

Routine and non-routine maintenance.
Mains water supply repairs.
Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
Any other duties commensurate with the role.

What you will bring:

NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance
Experience in operating light plant
Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience in a commercial environment
