Summary

PE Teacher/Instructor – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting March 2026 with no planning or marking

Duties as PE Teacher/Instructor:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons using provided materials with no planning or marking required
  • Promote physical development, teamwork, and active participation
  • Maintain consistent behaviour routines and ensure safe practical sessions
  • Adapt activities to meet mixed‑ability needs
  • Support pupil engagement through clear instruction and positive reinforcement
  • Assist with set‑up, equipment organisation, and lesson transitions
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain consistent practice
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal PE Teacher/Instructor:

  • Experience teaching or instructing PE, ideally in a school setting
  • Confident delivering practical sessions safely and effectively
  • Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
  • Ability to motivate and support pupils of differing abilities
  • Adaptable, proactive, and reliable in classroom organisation
  • Committed to supporting pupil progress and well‑being
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting a safe learning environment
