What You’ll Do:
As a Linker, you’ll be responsible for joining the components of our garments, such as sleeves to bodies, using specialist linking machinery. You’ll work with precision and consistency to ensure every piece meets the high-quality standards our brand is known for. Whether you’re working with fine yarns or intricate finishes, your attention to detail makes all the difference.
Your Impact:
• Produce beautifully finished garments that uphold the John Smedley standard
• Operate linking machinery efficiently and safely
• Match colours, threads, and tension with accuracy and care
• Maintain consistent quality and output across a variety of garment styles
• Support a culture of craftsmanship, pride, and continuous improvement
Who you are:
• You’re calm, focused, and take pride in doing things properly
• You’ve got great hand-eye coordination and love working with your hands
• You enjoy detailed, methodical work and care about the final product
• You’re reliable, a good team player, and keen to learn or build on your existing skills
• You’ve ideally worked in garment production, sewing, tailoring, or similar hands-on roles
