Purosearch is working on behalf of a small, friendly care home to recruit an ambitious and motivated Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career into a Registered Manager position.

About the Service
Our client operates a small, close-knit care home that delivers high-quality care in a hands-on setting, allowing management to make a genuine and visible impact on both residents and staff.
The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Registered Manager who will take responsibility for the overall running of the home, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining a warm and supportive culture.
This role is ideally suited to a current Deputy Manager who feels ready to step up and lead their own service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day management of the home
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding standards
Lead, motivate, and develop a small staff team
Promote person-centred care and positive outcomes for residents
Manage rotas, staffing, and budgets effectively
Maintain accurate records and quality assurance processes
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
About You
Currently working as a Deputy Manager or senior within a care setting
Ready to progress into a Registered Manager role
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality care and developing teams
