- Deliver engaging Science lessons following provided plans
- Teach practical and theoretical content safely and effectively
- Support students in developing key scientific knowledge and investigative skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet varied learning needs
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaboration during longer‑term placements
- Encourage enthusiasm for scientific enquiry and critical thinking
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Confident classroom and behaviour management abilities
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners of different abilities
- Flexible and comfortable working across various school environments
- Good communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
