Potential for Permanent Role
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian to join an international organisation in Darlington DL1 (Stockton-on-Tees office), supporting their strategic Order to Cash operations across Europe.
Credit Controller Role Highlights:
- Hybrid working: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
- Initial 6-9 month contract, with strong potential for conversion to permanent
- £14.87-£15.38 per hour
Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise cash collection and minimise bad debt on designated accounts
- Achieve world-class collection and past due performance targets
- Manage weekly account reviews and assist with audits (SOX compliance)
- Resolve customer queries and manage deductions promptly
- Perform month-end close, manual invoicing, and ad hoc reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and policies
- Support best-practice initiatives with cross-functional teams
Credit Controller Requirements:
- 5+ years' business experience in credit/collections
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle R12 or similar ERP a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and team collaboration skills
