Credit Controller - English, Spanish & Italian Speaker

Darlington DL1

Potential for Permanent Role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian to join an international organisation in Darlington DL1 (Stockton-on-Tees office), supporting their strategic Order to Cash operations across Europe.

Credit Controller Role Highlights:

  • Hybrid working: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
  • Initial 6-9 month contract, with strong potential for conversion to permanent
  • £14.87-£15.38 per hour

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise cash collection and minimise bad debt on designated accounts
  • Achieve world-class collection and past due performance targets
  • Manage weekly account reviews and assist with audits (SOX compliance)
  • Resolve customer queries and manage deductions promptly
  • Perform month-end close, manual invoicing, and ad hoc reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and policies
  • Support best-practice initiatives with cross-functional teams

Credit Controller Requirements:

  • 5+ years' business experience in credit/collections
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle R12 or similar ERP a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and team collaboration skills
