Summary
You will Be available to people of all faiths or no faith Offer sensitive pastoral care to patients, their families and carers Ensure that patients at the end of their life receive the care and support that is right for them Offer sensitive support to those in bereavement, including pregnancy loss Provide spiritual and religious care to those who require it Offer sensitive pastoral care to Trust staff Participate in the Departments 24 hour on-call rota on a weekly basis. Participate in the Trusts response in the event of a Major Incident Be prepared to attend multidisciplinary team meetings and liaise with other healthcare professionals as appropriate. Support volunteers working with the Chaplaincy Team, as appropriate, and as part of the Chaplaincy Team Contribute, as agreed with the Co-ordinating Chaplain, to ongoing programmes of education and awareness for Trust staff, particularly in areas relating to spirituality, faith, and belief. Conduct, as part of the Chaplaincy Team, funerals on behalf of the Trust
