Summary
To have responsibility for the delivery of elective endocrine surgery. To maintain sufficient skill in emergency general surgery to be able to participate fully in the emergency surgical daytime, out of hours and weekend rota. To maintain the highest clinical standards in general surgery. To work well with colleagues, junior staff and all health professionals Teaching and training of junior staff. Teaching of undergraduates To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
