Summary
Step Teachers are seeking a dedicated SEND Primary Teacher to join a mainstream school in Plymouth. This full-time role runs until the summer term and offers a unique opportunity to work within a small nurture room set up to support mixed primary age groups. With no planning required, you can focus entirely on teaching and supporting pupils in a compassionate, structured environment.

- Work closely with the SEND TA to ensure pupils receive personalised support

- Uphold school policies and safeguarding standards at all times
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEND pupils or a strong interest in inclusive education
- Confident classroom management skills with a compassionate approach
- Adaptable across different age groups and learning needs
- Positive, organised, and committed to pupil progress
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
