Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in Bristol, is seeking a talented and passionate Design & Technology Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and develop technical skills.

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will be teaching a range of subjects within the department, which may include resistant materials, product design, and graphics. You will be expected to plan and deliver lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of your students, ensuring that they make progress and achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Design & Technology, with a relevant teaching qualification and experience in the classroom. You should have excellent subject knowledge, the ability to use a variety of teaching methods, and a commitment to promoting students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Design & Technology subjects
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals
- Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum and resources
- Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings and initiatives
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Liaise with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to student support

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Design & Technology curriculum
- Experience teaching Design & Technology subjects in a secondary school setting
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
