- Deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum following provided plans
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑organised learning environment
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a wide range of learning needs
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with staff teams and contribute to wider school life during longer‑term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Positive, adaptable, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Able to build supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
