Summary
The key aims of this role are:
To provide site-based and Group-level support to Head of Quality & Environment.
Home based but will require frequent visits to industrial sites.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist with the development of site responses to new compliance requirements.
Support the maintenance and development of Group EMS documentation.
Support the training and development of Q&E Coordinators.
Assist sites in their compliance with the requirements of EN 14181 and EA expectations
Support site teams in liaison with local regulators.
Assist with compiling reports for internal and external use.
Develop and deliver environmental training to sites.
Produce monthly environmental KPIs for internal/external use.
Monitor the performance of quality and environmental objectives.
Assist with management system audits across Group.
Support sites during staff absence and transfer and mobilisation.
Ensure any environmental incidents are logged onto our recording systems promptly.
Support Group Quality and Environment Manager with other business tasks as required.
Key Accountabilities:
To support the Head of Quality & Environment and the wider business with any other reasonable projects and tasks as and when required.
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
Driving licence essential
High standard of IT literacy – good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
First-rate attention to detail, able to produce work to a professional standard
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pro-active, motivated and able to work independently
Interest or experience in environmental management
