Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a multi-franchise approved car dealer group located in Swindon.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
- Starting salary around £32,000 per annum, which is negotiable pending experience/qualifications.
- Access to performance-related bonus scheme based on hours sold, offering on-target earnings of up to £35,000+ per annum.
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half.
- Access to manufacturer-accredited training/development.
- 30 days annual leave (including the bank holidays) with holiday allowance increasing over the length of service and an extra day off on your birthday.

Duties:
- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest standards
Requirements:
- A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- A Current and Valid UK Driving License
- Ideally have at least several years of practical experience in a workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
The basic salary for this is role is £32,000 with an OTE of £35,000.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with one in three Saturday mornings 8:30am-12:30pm on a rota (paid as overtime).
