A long‑established manufacturer is looking for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance and performance of machinery across a busy production site.
If you enjoy fast‑paced environments, varied engineering challenges and keeping equipment running at its best, this role will suit you well.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive maintenance to keep production equipment running smoothly
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime
- Identify improvement opportunities and help strengthen preventative maintenance routines
- Coordinate with production teams to plan service work and machine downtime
- Support new machinery installations and ensure all work meets safety standards
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or production setting
- Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, HNC/ONC, 18th Edition)
- Strong electrical skills with solid mechanical capability
- PLC fault‑finding experience and strong communication skills across all levels
