Summary
Team Leader (Public Open Space)
Starting salary between £27423 and £32439 per annum
Full time on a shift rota, to include weekends and bank holidays
Based at the Council Depot, King’s Lynn
We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual with leadership experience who can help maintain the image of West Norfolk. This is a hands-on role where you will be supervising and planning the work of a team ensuring all available resources are used effectively. You will ensure that the quality of work in all areas has been completed to the required standard and in compliance with all Health and Safety.
You will require a good standard of education, (NVQ III level desirable) and will have experience in the operation of grounds maintenance and street cleansing at a supervisory level. A background working within the horticultural industry would be desirable but not essential. Working to high standards, you will be able to prioritise your workloads and communicate effectively at all levels.
You will also be required to use, monitor, and record usage of equipment that may cause hand, arm vibration (HAV’s) as well as taking part in HAV’s & noise health surveillance.
