Summary

Public Open Space Operative
Initial salary between £24414 and £26283 per annum

Streets Team - full time - 37 hours on a 4 on 4 off shift rota
Grounds Team - full time - 37 hours Monday - Friday
Based in the Kings Lynn and Hunstanton Areas.

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Public Open Space Team. If you are self-motivated, take pride in achieving high standards of work, and are keen to help maintain outdoor public spaces for our community and visitors, we would love to hear from you.

We need you to deliver a full range of either street cleansing or grounds maintenance services including, litter picking, clearing of fly tipping, dog waste bin collection, general ground maintenance, grass cutting and strimming to ensure our public open spaces remain clean, tidy and welcoming. The role is practical and physically demanding, working outdoors in all weathers either individually or as part of a team.

You will act as an ambassador for the Council, so a confident and professional approach when dealing with the public is essential. You must be able to work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and hold a full driving licence. Weekend and bank holiday working will be required to meet service needs and support special events.
