About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our supportive and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for outgoing individuals who are passionate about education and eager to gain valuable experience across the primary age range.
You will work closely with class teachers to support learning in classes of approximately 25 children, as well as providing focused support to small groups. The role involves working with pupils with a variety of needs, including those with additional learning needs and individual support plans.
This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in education, with opportunities to progress and potentially move into teacher training in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with varying needs
Assist in implementing individual education and support plans
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence
Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development
Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation
Contribute positively to the wider school team
