Summary

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Crane Supervisor to join a major RC frame apartment blocks scheme in Bedford. This is a long-term opportunity on a well-structured residential development, with works programmed for approximately 50 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising all lifting operations on site

  • Ensuring lifts are carried out in accordance with lift plans and RAMS

  • Coordinating with crane operators, slingers, and site management

  • Maintaining strict health & safety compliance

  • Overseeing lifting teams to ensure safe and efficient operations

  • Conducting toolbox talks related to lifting activities

Requirements

  • Blue CPCS Card - Crane Supervisor (A62) - Essential

  • Proven experience supervising lifting operations on RC frame projects

  • Strong knowledge of lifting regulations and site safety standards

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Reliable and professional work ethic
