Quarriers is one of Scotland’s leading social care providers. Our mission is to enable the people we support to live full, safe, respected and meaningful lives, and our purpose is to challenge poverty and inequality, and to empower people to reach their full potential.

Your new opportunity

Quarriers Village Supported Living, we are looking for compassionate and values‑driven Relief Support Workers who want to make a real difference.

Working in the beautiful surroundings of Quarriers Village, you will support individuals living in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, wellbeing and opportunity.

What you'll need to bring

We are seeking people who:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence (this is essential for the role)
  • Demonstrate strong values aligned with ours, including compassion, dignity, respect, and person‑centred care
  • Are reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to the needs of the service
  • Are confident communicators who build trusting, positive relationships
  • Show enthusiasm to learn and engage with ongoing training
  • Are motivated by helping others lead fulfilling and independent lives

Previous care experience is welcome but not essential — we value the right values and attitude, and we will support you to learn the rest.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing high‑quality, person‑centred care and support
  • Assisting with day‑to‑day routines, personal care (if required), and meaningful activities
  • Helping people engage in community life and maintain independence
  • Promoting dignity, choice, wellbeing, and safety at all times
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and dedicated team

What you'll get in return

We are committed to investing in and supporting our staff. Relief Support Workers benefit from:

  • Comprehensive training and development, including induction and ongoing learning
  • Supportive leadership and a values‑driven culture
  • Flexible working arrangements to suit your availability
  • Opportunities to gain experience across a well‑respected social care organisation
  • A rewarding role where your contribution truly matters.

This role is ideal for individuals who have flexibly availability, career‑changers entering the care sector, or anyone who wants to contribute to our mission while working in a unique and welcoming environment.
