We’re now looking for a Performance Data Analyst (internally known as a Business Data Analyst) to join our team on a Permanent basis. If you’re analytical, proactive, and motivated to support high-quality performance and insight across the organisation, we’d love to hear from youAbout the role As a Performance Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in strengthening how we collect, analyse, and present performance information across the Group. Your work will help colleagues make informed decisions, improve services, and deliver better outcomes for our customers and communities. This full-time, permanent role (36.25 hours per week) is primarily based in Leyland, with the flexibility offered through our Agile working approach. You’ll usually attend the office around once per week for team or project collaboration. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across Digital Services to produce clear, accurate reporting and meaningful analysis. You’ll help identify trends in data, review and refine performance indicators, and highlight opportunities to improve data quality. You’ll also respond to ad-hoc data requests, ensuring insights are accessible, relevant, and useful. By supporting teams across the Group, you will contribute to stronger processes, better decision-making, and improved performance informationWhat We Are Looking For We’re seeking someone with a strong eye for detail, a passion for data, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insight. To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience working with large data sets, including extraction, manipulation, and interpretation.The ability to interrogate performance information to identify trends and turn findings into compelling data stories.An understanding of data quality challenges faced by end users and how these can be addressed.Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
