Summary
Connect Appointments are currently recruiting reliable and motivated individuals to join our client's team in Rosyth as a Industrial Hygine Operative.
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
- Ongoing work with the potential for permanent employment
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.62 per hour (for your first 40-hours worked)
- Overtime available and paid at £18.83 per hour
- Full-Time (rotating 2-week pattern):
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday | 06:00 to 18:00
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday | 06:00 to 18:00
ABOUT THE JOB!
Your role as an Industrial Hygiene Operative is to ensure the environment is safe and clean to prevent a negative impact on quality standards. As such your duties will include:
- Clean all floors, walls and machinery on a rotational basis or as required - this will at times require working in confined spaces and at heights
- Clean all spillages as and when required
- Proactively respond to any incidents or environmental concerns which could negatively impact health and safety and quality standards - notifying management of any concerns
- Complete daily paperwork; liaising with other areas to ensure customer requirements are met
- Undertake any reasonable tasks as required and directed by management
Please Note: This role is within a wet environment and does involve heavy lifting.
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have strong experience within a similar role. Combined with:
- Experience of working to strict procedures and compliance requirements
- Forklift license is advantageous but not required
- Previous experience in confined spaces is advantageous but not required - full training is provided
