More detail about the role This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated finance professional to join a friendly, supportive, and highperforming Finance team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering highquality financial support across a diverse and clinically significant portfolio, including Womens and Childrens Health, Pathology, Genetics, Genomics, the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), and Sexual Health Services. As Finance Manager, you will act as a trusted partner to operational and clinical leaders, providing clear, insightful financial analysis, robust budget management, and timely reporting. You will work proactively with the Business Partner to shape financial strategy, support informed decisionmaking, and identify opportunities to improve value for money and service sustainability. Your contribution will directly support the delivery of safe, effective, and patientcentred care across a wide range of specialist services. You will also take responsibility for leading and developing junior finance colleagues, helping to foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture. This role can be based either at Newcourt House, Exeter or Devonshire House, Barnstaple but may be required to travel to alternate sites on occasion. We operate a flexible hybrid working model, with team members spending at least two days per week in the office to support collaboration, with the rest of the week worked from home.
