Summary

Micklands Primary School is currently looking for new co-opted governors to join the friendly governing body.

As a diverse learning community, Micklands works collaboratively to provide the very best for children, ensuring each individual can develop happily as an excellent learner, full of curiosity and wonder, underpinned by the confidence that comes from acquiring new knowledge, skills and understanding.

Governors come from a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience but all share a common interest of wanting the best possible education for the children in our school.

They are essential for the effectiveness and success of the school and it is an extremely rewarding and fulfilling role. This is a voluntary role.

Six full governing body meetings are held a year, generally Tuesdays at 5:45pm at the school.
