Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Professional Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients in a welcoming environment. Chair rent: £100 per/week
Duties:
Deliver professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and styling tailored to individual client preferences
Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and offer expert advice on styles and products
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barbering station in accordance with health and safety regulations
Build rapport with clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sterilised and maintained for safety and hygiene standards
Requirements
Proven experience in barbering or hair styling, with relevant qualifications or certifications preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalised advice
Proficiency in barbering techniques, including fades, line-ups, beard trimming, and traditional shaves
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding grooming experiences
Knowledge of current grooming trends and products is desirable but not essential
Must have social media
Must have a minimum of 10 clients on private books
