Summary

Are you passionate about shaping the future of aquatic education and developing high quality swimming teachers? If so then our Aquatics Education & Community Lead could be just the role you're looking for.

Join Everybody Health & Leisure as a Aquatics Education & Community Lead and play a vital role in shaping the future of aquatic education across our organisation. Reporting to the Aquatics Manager and working closely with our Academy, you’ll take the lead in delivering high quality training for both new and experienced teachers. With a strong corporate focus, you’ll drive the strategic development of school swimming programmes, build pathways into local clubs, and provide a structured training plan that raises teaching standards across all centres.

In this diverse and rewarding role, you’ll design and deliver annual swim teacher courses, coordinate CPD across multiple pools, and support teaching teams through regular lesson observations and targeted development. You’ll oversee the full end‑to‑end process for school swimming bookings, manage standards reviews across all nine pools, and act as a key point of contact for schools, clubs and pool hire customers ensuring everyone receives a seamless, high quality service. Strong relationships will be central to your success as you work closely with partners to grow participation and enhance the customer experience.

You’ll also take ownership of the continual improvement of our CPD offer removing barriers, improving access, and helping teachers deliver the very best lessons. Whether you’re developing course materials, providing poolside support to newly qualified teachers, or ensuring schools progression is tracked for individual swimmers, your work will directly improve aquatic education and community engagement. If you’re passionate about developing others, improving standards, and making a meaningful impact across multiple centres, we’d love to hear from you.
