Summary

Salary: £15+ per hour (Dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm



Morgan Hunt is working together with a large college in Rochdale who offer a range of academic and vocational courses to students aged 16+ aimed at providing education and skills to ensure successful futures for their students.

This is a mainstream college where learners will be both classroom and placement based, therefore needing staff who are flexible to travel between sites. The college has a large SEN inclusion unit where students with complex learning difficulties can also access a range of courses suitable to their needs.

There are a significant amount of students on roll with social, emotional and mental health difficulties who require support keeping focused, engaged and on track with attendance. We require people who can offer pastoral care and support to these students.



Learning Facilitator Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support to pupils with learning or behavioural needs.
- Work closely with tutors, employers, therapists, and families to deliver personalised interventions that promote learning, engagement, and independence.
- Support the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets.
- Use of specialist skills to help pupils access the curriculum, develop life skills, and achieve personal goals.
- Mentor and coach other staff in best practice strategies for SEND support.



What We're Looking For:
- Professional experience in specialist SEND support, ideally within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of autism, sensory needs, behaviour support, and other learning difficulties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, families, and external agencies.
- A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach, with a commitment to enabling every pupil to thrive.

To Be Eligible You Must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
- Be able to provide two professional references
