Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the unique learning needs of students with diverse special educational requirements
- Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and incorporate assistive technologies to support student progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and parents, to develop and implement comprehensive support plans
- Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching approaches to ensure continuous improvement
- Participate in regular professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and best practices in SEN education
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, as well as contribute to the overall evaluation and reporting of student progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of all students
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection practices

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Special Educational Needs
- Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) working as a SEN Teacher in a primary or secondary school setting
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to students with diverse learning needs
- Strong understanding of the latest teaching methodologies, assistive technologies, and evidence-based practices in SEN education
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with parents, therapists, and support staff
- Passion for creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential
