Summary
Location: HMP Glasgow, Glasgow
Hours: 45 per week, Monday to Friday

Kier Construction have been appointed to deliver one of Scotland's largest ever construction projects. HMP Glasgow will provide a safe, secure, energy efficient custodial facility to house 2000 inmates and staff located Northeast of Glasgow city. A £750M project, HMP Glasgow will replace Glasgow's ageing Barlinnie prison with a rehabilitation focussed modern facility, utilising cutting edge Modern Methods of Construction making this a true flagship project for the Scottish Construction sector and Kier Construction.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be working within the HMP Glasgow team, supporting them in delivering this transformative project. Your day to day will include:
-Managing sub-contractors and site logistics to ensure safe, high-quality delivery of construction work
-Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to maintain Kier's health and safety standards
-Coordinating site activities and resolving emerging challenges with creative solutions
-Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout all construction phases
-Creating and maintaining accurate site documentation and reporting
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Site Manager is great for you if:
-You have experience in a management role within a large construction environment
-You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams
-You're passionate about maintaining the highest health and safety standards
-You have relevant construction qualifications (HND/Degree/SVQ) or technical trade experience
-You hold SMSTS certification, CSCS card, First Aid certification and a UK driving licence
