Summary

Electrician – Industrial (Pontefract, WF9)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical systems in an industrial setting.


  • Conduct inspections, testing, and certification to ensure compliance with regulations.


  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications accurately.


  • Ensure all work adheres to BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and other relevant standards.


  • Maintain precise records of completed work, including reports and certifications.


  • Follow health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.


  • Collaborate effectively with contractors and other professionals to deliver projects on time and to high standards.


    Requirements:

    • AM2 qualification – essential.


    • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent – essential.


    • 2391 Inspection, Testing, and Certification (or equivalent) – essential.


    • ECS Gold Card – preferred but not essential.


    • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrician in industrial environments.


    • Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and safety standards.


    • Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently.


    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


      Working Hours:

      • Monday to Thursday: 7am – 4pm


      • Friday: 7am – 1pm
