The RoleWe are seeking a driven and commercially astute Field Sales Manager to lead business development activities across the UK. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and expanding market presence within the sustainable and biodegradable products sector.
The successful candidate will be field-based, spending the majority of their time meeting clients, identifying growth opportunities, and representing the brand at industry events.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop and execute a UK-wide field sales strategy aligned with company growth targets

Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across key sectors

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts to maximise revenue and retention

Conduct on-site client visits, product demonstrations, and presentations

Negotiate contracts and close high-value commercial agreements

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging sustainability regulations

Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding

Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting via CRM systems

Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
Key Requirements-
Proven experience in field sales, business development, or account management (ideally within sustainable, packaging, FMCG, manufacturing, or related sectors)

Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills

Ability to build relationships at all organisational levels

Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
Desirable-
Knowledge of biodegradable materials, sustainable packaging, or environmental compliance standards

Experience selling into retail, hospitality, food production, or industrial sectors

Understanding of ESG and sustainability frameworks
