What are we looking for
Experienced seafood salesperson with fantastic customer relations and proven results , who have worked within the similar industry and has strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine would be most desirable .

What does the role entail?
The purpose of this role is to achieve and exceed the sales targets and margin budget, and to manage customer relationships, as well as to develop new businesses.

Financial
• Produce business plans for customer portfolio to achieve annual sales and margin targets in conjunction with the Sales Manager
• Achieve Business plans
• Work with Credit Control to ensure customers comply with terms and conditions of trading.

Sales
• Manage a portfolio of customers and provide field support for team members with larger accounts.
• Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio and increase margin through:
• prospecting new customers and regaining lost business
• range extensions, working with suppliers and own brand offering
• Monitor sales performance and activity levels and produce monthly report detailing key result areas.
• Maintain appropriate records on clients and sales activities, as well as to produce reports as required to the management team for review and complete any customer reporting that may be required within required timescales.

Customer service
• Maintain and grow existing portfolio by regular interaction with customers to achieve agreed financial targets (Sales and Margin).
• Calling on customers on a regular basis, providing quotes and ensuring that enquiries and issues are followed up in a timely manner.
• Maintain price files and advising customers of increases, managing expectations to ensure business is retained.


Essential Requirements: What are we looking for?

• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads.
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how T&S Enterprises can service their needs
• Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
• Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements
• Prepare sales request and submit orders for processing
• Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients when overdue.
• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as information on selling strategies and marketing information
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports, continuously maintaining client records.
• Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns they might have
• Be always motivated be ready to make a sale at any given moment and continually look for possibilities.
