The Grosvenor Hotel is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our team on a zero-hour basis. This role is ideal for someone flexible who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Shifts are offered based on business needs, including weekdays, weekends, and peak periods.
Main duties and responsibilities
Clean guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to hotel standards
Strip and remake beds efficiently
Replenish linen, towels, and guest amenities
Report maintenance issues, lost property, or damage promptly
Follow health & safety and COSHH procedures
Work independently and as part of the housekeeping team
Support laundry tasks when required
Provide occasional reception cover when required (training provided if needed)

Essential
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Able to work at pace and manage time effectively
Good communication skills
Right to work in the UK
Desirable
Previous hotel housekeeping experience
Reception experience (to support occasional reception cover)
Flexibility to work weekends and busy periods
