Crynodeb
In this role, the successful applicant will carry out a wide range of investigation and enforcement activities across housing standards, including responding to service requests, assessing HMO applications and conducting property inspections. With the introduction of the Renters Rights Act bringing significant changes to private sector regulation, this is an exciting time to join. Applicants with an Environmental Health degree who have not yet completed their professional portfolio will be appointed at Grade 7 until registration. Part time applications from experienced officers are welcome, and the role supports flexibility in working arrangements.
Strong communication and organisational skills are required to manage a varied and sometimes demanding workload while maintaining excellent customer service. A full driving licence is also essential, and some work may be required outside normal office hours.
