A welcoming and ambitious two-form entry primary school in Warwickshire is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Year 6 (Key Stage 2) Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a temporary contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner with extensive Year 6 experience who is passionate about supporting pupils as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.
The RoleWe are looking for a teacher who:

Has substantial and proven experience teaching Year 6

Has successfully prepared pupils working towards their Key Stage 2 SATs

Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills

Has an in-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum

Is confident in using assessment data to inform planning and raise attainment

Can deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge all learners

Works effectively as part of a collaborative year group team in a two-form entry setting
The successful candidate will be expected to provide high standards of teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring all pupils make strong progress, including those working at greater depth and those requiring additional support.

Person SpecificationApplicants must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have extensive recent experience teaching Year 6

Demonstrate a strong track record of raising attainment in KS2

Show excellent classroom management and organisational skills

Have a secure understanding of statutory assessment arrangements
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and is suitable for experienced teachers with a strong background in Upper Key Stage 2.
