Female Support Worker - Poole (BH12)

About the person you'll be supporting

You'll be working across 2 setting's within close proximity, supporting a lovely lady in her 60's and a gentleman in his 50s who has autism and epilepsy and may sometimes experience distress. The right support helps them enjoy the things they loves most, including:

- Walks in the fresh air

- Listening to rock music

- Horse riding

- Spending time with his parents

- Ball games

- Music

- Relaxing with TV

Your presence helps them feel safe, understood, and able to enjoy these moments fully.

What your role looks like

You'll be part of the rhythm of his daily life — offering reassurance, structure, and encouragement. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing full personal care with dignity and respect

- Supporting daily routines and meaningful activities

- Encouraging independence and confidence

- Building a trusting, consistent relationship

- Creating a calm, positive environment

Shift pattern:

- WEEK ONE: tuesday, Wednesday 10:00-20:30

- WEEK TWO: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00-16:00 and Sunday 07:00-20:30
