Thursday, Friday & Saturday every week10pm - 7am (27 hours per week)

About the RoleYou'll be supporting two lovely ladies in their 40s and 50s who live in their own individual flats within a purpose-built complex in Poole. Both have strong, positive relationships with their families, who visit regularly.
One of the ladies does not use words to communicate, but she understands what is said to her and will guide you to what she wants. Patience, warmth, and a person-centred approach are essential.
Every night, you'll help create a safe, calm, and reassuring environment, ensuring the ladies feel comfortable and supported throughout the night. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing emotional reassurance and a consistent, calming presence
- Supporting with night-time routines and wellbeing
- Monitoring safety and responding to any needs that arise
- Keeping accurate records and maintaining a peaceful environment
- Working collaboratively with day staff to ensure continuity of care
This role requires a female Support Worker. Gender is considered a genuine occupational requirement under paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, where “gender” refers to the sex legally assigned to an individual.
