Strong communication skills and the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable residents.
Technical understanding of housing standards, Building Regulations and adaptation work (or willingness to learn).
Ability to interpret plans, prepare schedules, and assess property conditions.
A methodical approach to case management, record keeping and workload organisation.
Confidence to take appropriate enforcement action where necessary and with guidance.
Commitment to equality, safeguarding, high quality customer service and continuous improvement.

Excellent local government benefits and pension scheme.
The chance to shape housing standards and energy efficiency across our district and the county
