- Checking information is complete and accurate before invoices are sent

- Logging and responding to billing queries using set processes

- Chasing outstanding payments using standard letters and guidelines

- Recording and allocating payments received from patients and insurers

- Keeping billing and finance records up to date

- Working closely with colleagues across the hospital to resolve queries

This role follows clear procedures and systems, making it well suited to someone who enjoys structured work and consistency.

What We're Looking For

This role would suit someone who is organised, dependable and comfortable working with numbers and data.

Essential:

- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English

- Previous experience in an office, administration or customer service role

- Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems

- Good attention to detail

- Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines

- Clear and polite communication skills

Desirable (but not essential):

- Experience working in a healthcare, finance or administrative environment
