Summary
Main duties include completing clinical observations such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturations, temperatures, electrocardiograms (ECG) and urinalysis on adults and children who attend the Urgent Treatment Centre and being able to identify unwell adults and children and escalate appropriately. This role also includes the application of splints and plaster casts and wound care management for injuries. Effective communication skills and the ability to independently follow instructions is also a key aspect of the role. As well as, completing mandatory training and remaining up to date with clinical practice.
