About Us:

ISOL8 Healthcare Limited is a UK/Irish manufacturer and wholesale distributor of medical devices based in Crook, County Durham. We supply high-quality products to the NHS, hospitals, and medical, dental and veterinary retailers across the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team.

The Role:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring our products are stored, handled and dispatched efficiently and accurately. Working within a regulated medical device environment, attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential.

We are open to full-time or part-time applicants, and flexible working hours can be discussed. We would also welcome applications from individuals who may be retired but are looking to remain active in a flexible role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently (loading/unloading goods)
- Unloading and loading containers and checking deliveries against paperwork
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately
- Preparing goods for shipment in line with company procedures
- Assisting with stock control and regular stock takes
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality procedures
- Supporting general warehouse and logistics duties as required

Requirements:

Essential:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Acceptable level of physical fitness (role involves lifting and manual handling)
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic IT skills
- Resourceful and ability to problem solve

Desirable:
- Forklift truck licence (Preferably articulated/flexi trucks) – we may be able to support the right candidate in obtaining a licence if required
- Experience working within a pharmaceutical or medical device distribution environment
- Knowledge of stock control systems
