Role Overview

O'Neill & Brennan are currently seeking an experienced Shuttering Carpenter / Joiner for a National Grid project based at Melksham. This role is within the Energy sector and requires a highly competent tradesperson with infrastructure experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings and site instructions


  • Install shuttering and carry out carpentry works to a high standard


  • Adapt to and resolve on-site challenges efficiently


  • Inspect completed work and make adjustments to ensure quality standards are met


  • Work collaboratively with other trades and site management


  • Understand and comply with Temporary Works processes and procedures


    Essential Requirements

    • Valid National Grid EUSR Card


    • Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter / Joiner within infrastructure or energy projects


    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings


    • Full PPE (must be available before attending site)


    • Relevant trade qualifications and site tickets
