Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Registered Manager to oversee a specialist residential home for children and young people with high-risk presentations and complex needs. This service operates under Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and requires a leader with a deep understanding of restrictive practices, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities:
Registration with Ofsted as the RM.
Providing leadership to a multidisciplinary team with enhanced staffing ratios.
Ensuring full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
Managing DoLS authorisations and high-level safeguarding referrals.
Driving the home toward "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings.
Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role within a children’s residential setting.
Evidence of managing complex/high-risk placements (DoLS experience highly desirable).
Strong communication and Ofsted readiness skills.
