Join our dynamic Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) team as a Band 5 Diversity Co-Ordinator. We're seeking a passionate individual to contribute to our mission of embedding diversity and inclusion throughout the Trust.
This is permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to creating a more equitable and inclusive environment for staff and patients.

- Advance Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI): Implement strategies to embed EDI principles across the Trust, ensuring alignment with statutory duties and NHS standards.
- EDI Training and Development: Contribute to the design and delivery of comprehensive EDI training programs to raise awareness and foster a culture of inclusion.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Support the development and implementation of EDI policies that reflect the Trust's commitment to equality and diversity.
- Governance and Monitoring: Provide effective secretariat support to the Tackling Inequalities steering group and associated sub-groups, ensuring the timely completion of Equality and Inclusion Assessments (EIAs).
- Perform other duties as required to support the EDI team's objectives
-Attend face to face roadshows at different sites.
- Sit on interview and disciplinary panels face to face at different locations and virtually.
- Prepare accurate minutes during meetings, including key discussion points, decisions made, and action items assigned, and distribute to attendees in a timely manner; prepare and circulate meeting agendas in advance by coordinating with the network chairs to ensure all agenda items are captured.
- Lead on projects within EDI for example – Health Ability Passport
-Event coordination and attending all EDI events.
-Coordinatewith the facilitator for theBAMELeadership Development Programme/organise graduation.
