Summary

Finishing Foreman | Residential Development

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Finishing Foreman to join our site team in Ramsgate. You'll be the bridge between a busy construction site and a high-end finished product, ensuring every unit meets our rigorous quality standards before the keys are handed over.

The Role

As the Finishing Foreman, you are the gatekeeper of quality. You'll manage the final stages of the build-from second fix through to CML and legal completion.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Subcontractor Management: Leading and motivating internal trades and subcontractors (painters, joiners, masticers, etc.) to hit deadlines without cutting corners.

  • Snagging & Desnagging: Conducting thorough inspections, generating punch lists, and ensuring every item is closed out promptly.

  • Quality Control: Implementing a "Right First Time" culture on-site to reduce rework.

  • Health & Safety: Ensuring all finishing works are carried out in a safe, organized environment.

  • Customer Care: Occasionally liaising with purchasers during home tours to ensure a smooth handover experience.

What You Bring
  • The Eye: A relentless focus on detail and a passion for high-quality aesthetics.

  • The Experience: A proven track record as a Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager on residential schemes (apartments or housing).

  • The Communication: The ability to be firm but fair with trades, keeping the momentum up while maintaining professional relationships.

  • The Credentials:

    • SMSTS

    • CSCS Card (Gold/Black preferred).

    • First Aid at Work.

    • Trade background (Joinery or Painting/Decorating is a major plus).

Why Join Us?
  • Competitive Salary.

  • Stability: A solid pipeline of future local developments.

  • Culture: We value proactive problem-solvers who take ownership of their work.
