I am a young at heart man residing in an assisted living facility in Bexhill where I have my own self contained flat. I am supported by staff here but want to get out and about a bit more and do more social activities, especially as the nicer weather is coming. I am also just as happy to watch a decent film with you, play cards or just chat.
I need prompting to go to the bathroom, especially if we are going out and to be asked that my pad is clean.
I am easy going and friendly but need to be encouraged and motivated.
I am a wheelchair user when I go out but manage without in my flat. I am also a smoker so please consider this before applying.
Duties include:
- Personal grooming
- Moving and handling
- Other relevant duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Personal grooming to prompt me to use the bathroom and my pad and trousers are clean.
- Moving and handling I may need a hand when getting in and out of the car.
- Housekeeping encourage me to do light tidying.
- Dressing / undressing checking with me that my pad and trousers are clean after I have used the bathroom.
- Bathroom Assistance prompt me to go to the bathroom especially before going out, encourage me to make sure I am clean and my trousers are clean.
