This post is expected to be for approximately 6 months to cover a long term absence. About the role:
As a Packing Bay Operator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations.

Responsibilities will include:

overseeing packaging machinery
ensuring products are packaged and labelled efficiently, correctly and safely.
prepare shipments for despatch / collection by courier in accordance with quality and safety standards and regulations.
Pack and label products with the right specifications, descriptions, batch details.
Monitor the use and inventory of packaging materials.
Follow any prescribed standard operating procedures (SOPs)
other tasks as designated by leaders


What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

Experience in industrial roles - ESSENTIAL
Forklift Driving a plus!
Hoist or Crane Operation experience a plus!
Attention to detail - accuracy
Excellent organisation skills
Time management skills - efficiency
Maintain clean and organised work areas
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability lift and move materials / containers/ boxes of varying sizes and weights according to Health & Safety Protocols
IT Proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
