Summary

Helpdesk Administrator

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Helpdesk Administrator to join our facilities management team on a temporary basis. This role is essential for maintaining smooth office operations and providing high-quality support to our clients and internal teams.

Role Overview
  • Pay Rate: £16 per hour

  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week (07:30 - 16:30).

  • Contract Type: Temporary.

  • Duration: 23/02/2026 - 23/08/2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Manage internal mail sorting and provide support.

  • Helpdesk Management: Act as the central point of contact for general office queries, utilizing the Maximo helpdesk system and other specialized software.

  • Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service by effectively supporting changing client needs and resolving inquiries promptly.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new helpdesk software (full training on the Maximo system will be provided).

  • Communication: Strong customer service skills with a professional and flexible approach to problem-solving.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
